Back now. So the very same day I made the last post, reshoots for The Beaver were going on and I've added some images of that to the gallery. Unfortunately, two of them are tagged, fortunately, the tags are not on his face, so it's all good =) In other news, Anton is rumored to be playing Harry Osborn (the Green Goblin villain guy) in the new Spiderman reboot. As you may know, he was up for the role of Spidey himself, but that went to Andrew Garfield.

Added scans from a Japanese magazine calle Aera. Even though it's the May issue, the interview within seems to be from February (unless the earlier reports that his birthday is on June 23 are true). Thanks goes out to pikovezi via YelchinFans. Also, this might be old news (since it was posted on the tagboard about two weeks ago), but Anton is rumored to star in another movie called Like Crazy. A couple of things today. Firstly, Anton has been cast in yet another movie, this time a short called The Apprentice which is part of a compliation movie which right now is called Untitled Comedy. You can read a little article and see a set picture from that over at theage.com.au. I've also added that picture to the gallery. In other news, Anton was promoting Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac in Japan recently and you can read an article (in Japanese) and see some pictures over at cinematoday.jp. I've added the first image to the gallery, but the rest are too small. I also added some miscellaneous images of Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac (a poster, a set image and a magazine scan) thanks to Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac Facebook group. Happy birthday to Anton Yelchin Resource! Yes, it was today 5 years ago (5 years, imagine that) that I decided to open a website for Anton having seen the trailer for House of D the day before. I think it speaks a lot about Anton's acting ability and charisma that I became a fan after only having seen him in a trailer. Anyway, to celebrate, I added some new Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac photocall pictuers to the gallery from here. A couple of interviews/articles today. First off, Anton was in Japan recently to promote Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac (as you could probably see from the video below). Now there's also a print interview over at Japan Today along with a new image which I've added to the gallery. And also, according to SlashFilm, Anton will voice Clumsy Smurf in the upcoming adaptation of The Smurfs. Thanks to YelchinFans for the links!

Soooo, I had some problems with the gallery, but they're fixed now. Unfortunately, after repairing it, everything I'd uploaded after December 13th was lost so I had to re-upload them. Sorry for not updating for so long, but I am, in fact, still alive =) Anyway, Anton is rumored to be in a movie called 'The Winter Queen' co-starring Milla Jovovich. Read all about that here. Happy new year everybody! Another Anton-filled year is upon us =) This year we can look forward to quite a few things. First up, Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac will be released in March (in Japan at least). Hopefully, You and I will also get a release and Middle of Nowhere and New York, I Love You will get a DVD release. The Beaver might come out and maybe we'll get some Keep Coming Back and Star Trek sequel stuff as well. Anton Yelchin Resource will hopefully still be around to bring you news and media. So have a happy 2010!

Happy holidays everyone! Anyway, there's a new video on Youtube from a Russian programme depicting famous people from St. Petersburg? I think it's about that anyway. It shows where Anton used to live there (for the whole 6 months that he did) and it also has a new interview with him (and his mom and dad) from his home now. It's entirely in Russian so I understand only a few words/phrases myself. If there are any Russian speakers out there who'd like to translate what they say, that would be much appreciated. Sorry for the lack of updates. I tried to update earlier, but my FTP was playing whimsical tricks on me. Anyway, there's a new headshot of Anton at IMDb, so I added that to the gallery. According to them, Anton's also gonna be in a couple of new projects - Keep Coming Back and a sequel to Star Trek. Not much else to update right now. Terminator: Salvation caps are hopefully coming soon.
